01Cutting
Marker making is planned against the actual lay of the fabric, not a nominal size. Automatic cutters run nested markers and every bundle is bar-coded back to the roll lot it came from.

Thirty years of garment manufacturing in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
ABOUT US
Dhaka Raiment began in 1995 as a small garment unit in Mirpur, Dhaka. Three decades later the group runs three audited production facilities and ships woven and knit programmes to buyers in Europe, North America and Asia.
We measure ourselves the way our clients do — by on-time delivery, by first-pass quality, and by the number of seasons a buyer stays with us.

OUR JOURNEY
1995
A single production unit opens in Mirpur, Dhaka with 40 employees making woven shirts for European buyers.
1999
A second Mirpur facility is commissioned for cutting and sewing, adding 12,000 pieces of daily capacity.
2008
Mark Designers Limited passes its first Accord and RSC inspection, opening the group to EU and North American brands.
2012
The group's largest unit opens in Gazipur, specialising in woven outerwear and heavy bottoms at 18,000 pieces daily.
2024
GRS and GOTS certified lines go live, taking the group past 45,000 pieces produced every day.
THE PROCESS
01Marker making is planned against the actual lay of the fabric, not a nominal size. Automatic cutters run nested markers and every bundle is bar-coded back to the roll lot it came from.
02Lines are balanced by operation rather than by style, so a delayed operation never stalls the whole floor. Inline checks run at every station, not only at the end of the line.
03Trims, buttonholes, embroidery and pressing sit under one roof, which keeps the number of inter-floor handovers — and the number of re-presses — low.
04Final audit, folding, poly-bagging and carton packing are recorded per carton. Nothing leaves the gate without a passed final inspection record against the buyer's AQL.
QUALITY CONTROL
Inline inspection runs at every operation, backed by a final audit line that works to the buyer's AQL. Measurement tolerances are logged per style and reviewed at the end of every shipment, so a repeat order starts from data rather than memory.
